An open, modern and bright family space
Our clients envisioned an open concept design, adding a modern appeal to this dated, traditional back-split. The original layout featured dark, closed-off rooms that were uninviting and ill-suited for entertaining. Super Seven removed the non-load bearing wallbetween the dining and new white kitchen, creating an open living room, kitchen layout designed for family gathering and entertainment.
A cramped entryway closet was transformed into a light, open mudroom area featuring millwork, coat hooks and storage space. As a cost-effective alternative, Super Seven refaced the stairs to match the new hardwood throughout. The glass railing delivered a modern feel the clients were aiming for, and further opened up the entry space to create a warm, inviting atmosphere right from the moment you step into the home.
